Lapsi Manchurian Snack

Ingredients:

  1. Lapsi boiled – 1 cup
  2. Chopped ginger – 1 tsp
  3. Chopped garlic – 1 1/2 tsp
  4. Green chili chopped – 1 tsp
  5. Chopped onion – 2 tsp
  6. Chopped cauliflower – 1/4 cup
  7. Chopped carrot – 1/4 cup
  8. French beans choppeds – 1/2 cup
  9. Capsicum chopped – 2 tsp
  10. Cabbage – 1/4 cup
  11. Chopped spring onion – 2 tsp
  12. Salt
  13. White pepper – 1 pinch
  14. Chilli sauce – 1 tsp
  15. Soya sauce – 1 1/2 tsp
  16. Seasoning cube – 2 pinch
  17. Corn flour – 4 tsp
  18. Salt – 2 pinch
  19. Oil – 2 tsp and for shallow frying
  20. Steamed corn – 3 tsp

Methods:

  1. Boil lapsi for 5 minutes and strain it in strainer. Remove excess water.
  2. Take cauliflower, carrots, add cabbage in a bowl, add some salt and keep aside for 10 minutes. Strain well for remove water.
  3. Add lapsi (broken wheat). Add 3 to 4 tsp of cornflower to this mixture. Add 2 pinch salt, 3 pinch of seasoning powder and white pepper powder. Make small balls and deep fry it in medium hot oil till crisp. Remove on a plate.
  4. Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan on high flame. Sauté ginger, garlic, chopped onions and green chilies. Add the sauces, seasoning powder.
  5. Add deep fried balls. Add 1 tsp corn flour (mixed in 3 – 4 tsp of water). Add spring onion. serve hot topped with steamed corn kernels.
